Wedded Bliss

I don't know how your Friday was, but mine was absolutely lovely in every way.  Not only did my husband and I get to witness our friends, Aubrey and Cole, being sealed for time and all eternity, but I had the honor of capturing their wedding day pictures on the Dallas, TX LDS temple grounds.  I had so much fun joining their family on this very special day! What a blessing to witness the love they have for each other. And, hello, they're gorgeous too!

Seriously, how cute are these two?! Looks like they were plucked from the top of a wedding cake!
There is something about this photo that feels so magical to me. What a joyful day it was to be around them and to see the blessings of eternal families. Marriage is a wonderful place to be. Welcome to the club, you two!

Xanadu!

My husband is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me, besides of course the one time I watched Xanadu and it changed my life forever. No, seriously, Xanadu is amazing, you should totally watch it. Believe me when I say, it does not get better than roller skating and singing at the same time.

Here is to a super stellar, Xanadu singing husband who knows how to rock a bow tie, make me laugh and most importantly, is the best dang dad to our three adorable daughters. Happy Father's day to all you dads out here who charm your leading ladies. (Cue the music)

Engaged in Paris!

In case you missed it, last Friday I captured the proposal of these two sweethearts. Click HERE to view the "Will You Marry Me?" photos. I've shot Cole and Aubrey before, and it's so hard during the editing process because they are so photogenic. Narrowing down their session is such a difficult task, I always want to edit them ALL!

We started out in front of this adorable candy store I came across just last week. It's called Creative Candy Designs, and you should seriously go check it out in downtown Paris, or swing by FB and like her page (Click Here). The owner is a doll and super friendly (her hand makes a cameo in the photo where Aubrey is showing off her ring)! I'm a sucker for good customer service, and she tops the cake! The cute little Eiffel Tower chocolates and custom greeting on the chalkboard were both sentiments of a charming candy store owner.
When I spotted the blue bench in front, I knew we had to use it for some shots. The colors were perfect!! This was only my second time in downtown Paris, and I must say, definitely won't be my last. The people were awesome, the atmosphere was great and getting to photograph a couple of lovebirds in the midst of all this was my idea of a perfect session.  Enjoy!
Congratulations, you two! I couldn't be happier for you guys!! Marriage is so wonderful!
