Engaged in Paris!

In case you missed it, last Friday I captured the proposal of these two sweethearts. Click HERE to view the "Will You Marry Me?" photos. I've shot Cole and Aubrey before, and it's so hard during the editing process because they are so photogenic. Narrowing down their session is such a difficult task, I always want to edit them ALL!

We started out in front of this adorable candy store I came across just last week. It's called Creative Candy Designs, and you should seriously go check it out in downtown Paris, or swing by FB and like her page (Click Here). The owner is a doll and super friendly (her hand makes a cameo in the photo where Aubrey is showing off her ring)! I'm a sucker for good customer service, and she tops the cake! The cute little Eiffel Tower chocolates and custom greeting on the chalkboard were both sentiments of a charming candy store owner.
When I spotted the blue bench in front, I knew we had to use it for some shots. The colors were perfect!! This was only my second time in downtown Paris, and I must say, definitely won't be my last. The people were awesome, the atmosphere was great and getting to photograph a couple of lovebirds in the midst of all this was my idea of a perfect session.  Enjoy!
Congratulations, you two! I couldn't be happier for you guys!! Marriage is so wonderful!

Marry Me?

Last week I was asked by a friend to take part in a super secret mission; a mission that would conclude with him proposing to the sweetest gal I know, under the Eiffel Tower in Paris (Texas). Alright, maybe it wasn't in France, but it was still romantic as ever! I still can't even believe I got to witness this momentous occasion.  I'm so stoked to have captured the proposal and give them the opportunity to share it for a lifetime.

The plan was to"coincidentally" bump into each other at the Eiffel Tower, where I happened to be taking photos of my lovely daughter just for the fun of it. Mr. Sampson is pretty sly, and for a minute there I thought my Broadway dreams were coming to a reality; I have mad acting skills(insert sarcasm here).   Stealth photo shoots are super fun, but enough about me.....

She said yes!!
One could conclude that this was the end of the surprises. Oh no, there was definitely more. After the proposal we headed downtown Paris to take their engagement photos, which will soon follow. I couldn't help but let this part of the session out of the bag. So many warm wishes and happy thoughts toward this adorable and madly in love couple!
